abstract="PURPOSE/METHODS: To investigate the relationship between childhood neighborhood environment and risk-taking propensity in adolescence by using an objective environmental measure and a laboratory-based risk-taking propensity measure. RESULTS: Childhood neighborhood disorder predicted risk-taking propensity on a behavioral measure during early adolescence (β = 1.8, p < .01). CONCLUSION: Early toxic environments affect laboratory-based behavioral manifestations of risk.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>",
