abstract="We report a case of a 17-year-old patient who experienced an epileptic seizure while showering. The patient suffered full-thickness scald injuries involving thorax, abdomen and both arms and legs. The burn, which included 35% of the patient's body surface area, will cause life-long secondary functional and aesthetic deformities. By installing adjustable shower equipment with a maximal temperature limit, this devastating accident could have been prevented.<p /><p>Language: de</p>",
