abstract="Before moving to Milton Keynes in 2003, the author looked at the Milton Keynes council website and was impressed by the information about the ease of cycling in the borough. When he arrived in Milton Keynes, he got a shock. He sent the following text and images to Milton Keynes Council and, other than an e-mail auto- response, heard nothing for a few weeks. Then he was contacted by the Editor of a Milton Keynes promotional website requesting permission to put some of the text and the images on the web. Some of it appeared on http://www.mkweb.co.uk/transportmk/ but it was rewritten... particularly the Editor of MKWeb praised National Express, something he wouldn't have done were he a regular passenger. Following complaints from the author, the Editor of MKWeb removed it from the website.
