abstract="The road traumatism has a special place in the structure of trauma mortality due to severe aftermath for population health and enormous burden on public health system. The damage resulted of road accidents impacts the social, demographic, medical and economic sectors. Most of the existing systems of road accidents outcomes prevention are targeted to the primary (prevention of trauma occurrence or decrease of their severity) and secondary (supply of adequate medical care) prevention. The review analyses the system of preventive measures directed at prevention of road traumatism. The issues of supplying of adequate medical care to victims on all its stages are discussed. The particular attention is paid to the issues of pre-hospital stage, the known models of organization of medical care to victims on pre-hospital stage, the major directions of modernization of the system of pre-hospital medical care of road accident victims.<p /> <p>Language: ru</p>",
