abstract="Accidents are a severe problem in all modes of transport. The consequence of a traffic accident can be horrendous, and people indicate a high willingness-to-pay (WTP) to reduce the risk of being the victim of a traffic accident. A part of the traffic accident problem can be explained by the fact that the user, in his or her decision, does not consider all costs related to an accident - a part of the accident cost is external to the user.<p />",
