abstract="A computer application of Monte Carlo simulation to systems represented as networks is described. The program, called PLANT,1 is discussed, especially its suitability to systems with high level of redundancy. PLANT is based on nodal state evaluation and does not require minimal cut or path sets evaluation. Statistical properties of the method performance and verification of the program are give. Finally an example is analysed and the results compared with the analytical method based on system's working boundary states by J. M. Kontoleon.<p />",
