abstract="In this paper, a new Bayesian approach proposed in a previous work is used to formulate point and interval estimators of shape parameter and reliable life of the two-parameter Weibull model with both parameters unknown. The Jeffreys' non-informative joint prior was also used and the corresponding estimation results were compared with those obtained by the proposed method.By means of a large Monte Carlo simulation, the proposed estimators are shown to possess good properties when a minimum of prior knowledge actually exists.<p />",
