abstract="The core uncovery time in TMI-type accidents, i.e. small loss of coolant accidents due to stuck open power-operated relief values, is calculated. A simple computer code provides the deterministic point estimates. The uncertainties associated with the numerical values of the inputs are propagated using a second degree polynomial as a response surface. A simple approach is taken to handle the uncertainties due to the models themselves.<p />",
