abstract="In fire technical design it is important to estimate the temperature in rooms externally exposed to fire. Typical applications are archives and shelters where in both cases the temperature in the room must be kept below critical values. In the paper a simplified numerical model for describing the thermal mechanism of this process is briefly described, taking into account major parameters.
