abstract="A limited number of flammability tests of foamed plastics indicates that the ASTM E162 radiant panel test will rank thermosetting foamed plastics in a plausible merit sequence. The method attributes undue merit, however, to the influence of the low emissivity of aluminum-foil-facing and rates thermoplastic foams very favorably because of their melting and dripping characteristics.<p />",
