abstract="Objective: To report the prolong hypoglycaemia following acute Tramadol poisoning.Method: We describe a patient's clinical presentation and outcome with prolong hypoglycaemia following acute Tramadol poisoning and discuss the possible mechanism for the hypoglycaemia.Results: We report a case of 54-year-old woman with partial hepatectomy. Following ingestion of 3000mg Tramadol with suicidal intent, she developed prolong hypoglycaemia that needed to be treated with continuous glucose infusion for 24 hours.Conclusion: This report highlights the danger of hypoglycaemia in Tramadol poisoning.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>",
