abstract="There are numerous cases of acute intoxication with nicotine described in medical literature. The known routes of intoxication are transdermal, oral, inhalational, and intravenous. We presents a case of oral poisoning with nicotine from cartridges of e-cigaretes. According to the best of our knowledge this is first case of such poisoning in Poland.
