abstract="This study investigates how UAA affiliated aviation programs safety course content compares to the safety programs and concerns of the airline industry. Airlines have experienced very few flight safety accidents and incidents during the past 5 years. During the same period airline employees experienced ground related injuries at a very high rate compared to other industries. The research concludes that UAA educational programs should be reviewed to ensure adequate attention is being given to ground safety topics.<p />",
