abstract="The study on large amplitude sloshing is a noticeable subject of ship hydrodynamics. In this paper, Youngs method is adopted to reconstruct the free surface and the velocity boundary conditions of free surface cells are described. The cases of free surface fronts encounter which occur when the fluid turning and breaking are discussed. The code is programmed and the numerical simulation of large amplitude sloshing is performed. The results show that the method and the free surface velocity conditions are effective to analyze violent liquid sloshing.<p />",
