abstract="The importance of pedestrian accidents as a source of injury to children is noted. The methodology of a current at-the-scene study of pedestrian accidents is described and the first results of this study, together with results from a previous study, are used to describe some features of pedestrian accidents. The location of the bumper with respect to lower limb injuries is discussed.<p />",
