abstract="On the basis of the data drawn by national and international literature and the introduction of legislation concerning "alcohol and alcohol-related problems" authors studied alcohol consumption in a group of 512 building workers during the periodic health surveillance examination (years 2011-2012). Another group of 209 construction workers were examined for alcohol concentration in expired air and during work on building sites. In the first group, 62.1% of workers refers to drink alcoholic beverages; we found GGT and CTD alterations in about 1/3 of workers who reported high alcohol consumption. Alcohol tests in building sites demonstrated that alcohol consumption during pauses in work is still common.

Language: it
",
