abstract="Pedestrian lower leg injury is one of the most common injury forms in pedestrian traffic accident. The paper studied the pedestrian lower leg injuries impacted by a vehicle polypropylene(PP) bumper which meets the requirements of recycling and lightweight vehicles, and whose performance is better than the general homopolymerize PP or co-polymerization PP. Based on finite element method, the paper developed a simplified model and proved the feasibility of replacing the traditional bumper with the Polypropylene one.",
