abstract="Based on the solution of Boussinesq, a method is adopted to study the influence of surface settlement induced by shield tunnel construction of adjacent structure. A model assumes that a structure load bases on a cone-shaped load, which is established to solve surface settlement induced by shield tunnel construction of adjacent structure. Then the results of the 3D FEM method, the Peck method and the formula in this study are compared by some examples. Without considering construction, the formula result in this study is closest to the results of the 3D FEM method and the Peck method.<p />",
