abstract="This study aims to compare the practice deliberated (Ericsson, Krampe and Tesch-Römer, 1993) among 28 referees on the Area Nord-Pas-de-Calais on football [soccer]. The results show that the referees of District (departmental level) especially engage in knowledge of the rules of the game, whereas in League (regional level), they are more focused on the communication towards the players, on the exchanges with the other referees.
