abstract="Interest and concern in Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) has increased considerably over the last decade. However, knowledge about its etiology and prognosis remain limited and poorly understood. Evidence suggests that DCD is not a uniform disorder. Children with DCD have motor difficulties, comorbidity of motor difficulties and difficulties in other, non-motor, areas. Many also show problems with attention and concentration, or specific learning disabilities, such as dyslexia and specific language impairment. This review summarises information on DCD, with particular focus on definition, prevalence, common characteristics and management approaches. Language: en",
