abstract="This study analyzes survey data collected from over 400 junior high school students in Grades 7 and 8 in an attempt to determine the relationships between family drug use factors; peer drug use factors; school problems; psychosocial concerns; alcohol, marijuana, and other drug use; and abstinence. Socialization theory is used as the theoretical framework factor analysis is used to create indexes, and analysis of variance and regression procedures are used for analysis.
