abstract="This paper explains how walkable environment leads to the livable environment of a city. Livability is a concept that has been practiced worldwide. It is equivalent to the quality of living in a city and is determined by many elements. One of the important elements is to create a walkable environment in order to achieve livablility in a city. This study aims (1) to identify the role of walkable environment in making Kuala Lumpur a liveable city and (2) to assess the level of comfort for walking activities by its citizens. Thus, it is crucial to promote a walkable lifestyle where the citizens are given the option to walk comfortably in the city.<p />",
