abstract="A charcoal cartridge extraction procedure, for isolating drugs from biological fluids, is described. The technique is useful for extraction of acidic, basic and neutral drugs without prior fractionation of the fluid. A number of cases obtained from an outside laboratory are used to determine the efficiency of the procedure.<p />",
