The patients were aged mainly between 14 and 18 years and the accidents happened mainly in the afternoon hours. The majority of the injuries were on the head and the extremities. Twenty-one of the patients were admitted to hospital for median 4.8 days, 50 were treated as outpatients and four were dead on admission.
