abstract="On the basis of uni- and multivariant statistic analyses on 1700 old-age patients suffering from hip-joint near femur fractures, socio-medical initial and final parameters of treatment are shown the correlations between the quality of osteosynthesis, psycho-physical ability to walk at the time of discharge and subjective assessment of the personal living circumstances being pointed to. With the help of a long-term study covering a period of 13 years after the accident, it is established that the further posttraumatic life expectancy of old people decidedly depends on the development of their ability to walk after their discharge from the hospital.<p /><p>Language: de</p>",
