abstract="The usefulness of two instrument combinations (Eppendorf Substrat Messplatz und Substrat Automat) has been tested in comparative examinations to make the alcohol dehydrogenase method more rational. Substrat Messplatz means a combination, which takes measures and registers the result of the analytical samples automatically at the end of the ferment chemical reaction. The Substrat Automat works on the microlitre method, which makes a total automatic course of the ferment chemical reaction and measurement possible. The usefulness of both combinations for the alcoholometry has been stated by 32,000 analyses of 16,000 blood samples using the Substrat Messplatz, and 5,200 analyses taken in the comparative examinations and tested with the help of the Substrat Automat, which was adapted to the ferment chemical alcohol reaction.<p />",
