abstract="In a field study the practical use of on-site drug testing in traffic checks was tested. The results from urine, sweat or saliva were compared to findings of a blood sample used in court. Deviations appeared from false-positive as well as from false-negative results with regard to all parameters. In doubtful cases, the use of on-site drug tests can lead to certainty when arranging further measures and can possibly increase the control density. However, users must be aware of the results' restricted evidence, especially concerning the conclusiveness, the possibility of errors and the non-detection of other central nervous drugs.<p />",
