abstract="In a large number of chemistry and clinical chemistry analyses, the matrix efect of solutions has an influence on quantitative determination of specific substances. In this publication the authors report an investigation to establish whether the serum matrix influences the blood alcohol concentration in gas chromatography analyses. The results of an analysis of 200 samples with and without the presence of serum matri demonstrated no matrix influence on the determination of blood alcohol concentrations.<p />",
