abstract="In 1972, the authors published a statistical method for the calculation of blood alcohol concentration at the time of an event from the blood alcohol concentration at the time of taking the sample. Now they evaluated 712 blood alcohol curvatures with this method, published by different authors and using a computer. The results obtained were plotted in graphic form by the computer. The authors demonstrate that the length of the time of absorption and distribution after ingesting alcoholic beverages is only to a small extent influenced by the amount of the alcohol ingested and the period of drinking. The maximum of alcohol curvature is reached normally within 60 min, at least 120 min after the end of drinking.<p />",
