abstract="Accidents are an unexpected, unplanned occurrences which may involve injury or it may be defined as an unpremeditated event resulting in recognizable damage. Railway related injuries are not uncommon occurrences in forensic practise. Among the varied presentation of injuries, superficial injuries along with fractures were commonly observed. Proper history taking along with performance of meticulous autopsy following standard protocols is mandatory to resolve the cases associated with railway traffic related deaths.
