abstract="<p>An Asian woman sustained burns to her right arm during a home treatment for shoulder pain. She covered the wounds with a wet dressing and immediately called 911. Paramedics found the patient awake, alert, and ambulatory but in severe pain, which she rated as 8 on a scale from 0 to 10. The medics removed the wet dressing and applied a dry burn gauze to the affected area. Non-circumferential partial- and full-thickness burns were noted over her right shoulder and upper arm. The woman had full movement and sensation distal to the burn sites.</p> <p>Language: en</p>",
