abstract="Thermal conditions on tractor's driver place are important factor not only for comfort but also for health of driver and working performance, thus for work and traffic safety. Tractor together with the driver may work in extreme environmental conditions, ranging from very low to very high temperatures, together with other adverse influences (air contamination with dust and exhaust gases, sometimes also with chemicals for plant protection). Such environment can be very adverse, not only for human working performance but also for his health. In the paper the processes that lead to hyperthermia and heat stroke are explained, and contemporary methods for improvement of the thermal conditions in agricultural tractors are given.
