abstract="The core of the concept of trafficking in persons, defined in the Palermo Protocol, is based on the notion of exploitation. This text approaches trafficking in persons as a labor issue with a view to helping clarify this notion. The forced labor concept, formulated by the International Labor Organization, supports this discussion.
