abstract="The article presents information on a paper regarding the assumption that organized criminal groups are actively involved in human trafficking. It looks at the research by Australia and other countries on the role of organized criminal groups in trafficking for labor-related exploitation. It also elaborates on the role of United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNCTOC) in providing a legal framework for combating transnational organized crime and the its definition of transnational organized crime. It also discusses the role of intermediaries and facilitators in human trafficking.<p />",
