abstract="Key words from product warning labels and a safe motor response to products containing those words on their labels were taught to 4 elementary students with moderate mental disabilities using actual products with warning labels and a constant time delay procedure. To enhance generalization, students were presented with multiple exemplars of products with warning labels during instruction. Generalization was assessed across settings and products. The results indicated that the procedure was effective in teaching a safe response to potentially dangerous products across students, as well as increasing a generalized response to novel settings and materials.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
