abstract="OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between childhood trauma, impulsivity and suicide ideation in patients with borderline personality disorder(BPD).<br><br>METHOD: BPD patients were screened out from 1 864 prisoners by personality diagnostic questionnaire 4th edition (PDQ-4). Then they were assessed by childhood trauma questionaire-28 item short form(CTQ-SF), Barratt impulsiveness scale 11 th edition(BIS-11)and self-rating idea of suicide scale(SIOSS).<br><br>RESULTS: Total 163 BPD patients were screened out,and 90 of them had suicide ideation (SIOSS≥12). Structural equation model indicated that childhood emotional neglect demonstrated positively direct effect on suicide ideation and had an indirect effect on suicide ideation through childhood nonplanning impulsivity. Attentional impulsivity had a mediating effect between emotional abuse and suicide ideation.<br><br>CONCLUSION: Suicide ideation in patients with BPD are associated with childhood traumas and impulsivity. <p /> <p>Language: zh</p>",
