abstract="This article examines the impacts of domestic violence on the children being controlled and hidden and mental health of child witnesses in the settlement of child custody in divorce cases resulting from domestic violence. This article notes that China has joined the International Convention on Child Rights in the implementation of protecting child and youth's rights and the law against domestic violence. It proposes that the court should observe the three basic principles of maximizing child's interests, prioritizing child's special protection and protecting child's mental health and rights and interests, and prioritize the proper settlement of child custody in divorce cases resulting from domestic violence. It also presents concrete suggestions on the placement to child custody in divorce cases resulting from domestic violence in order to encourage proper court settlements to avoid making children the victims of domestic violence,achieving maximum protection of child's rights and interests.  <p /> <p>Language: zh</p>",
