abstract="An extraordinary case of suicide by stabbing wound is presented. It is a wound produced by a cannula or hollow tube that the victim put into a large varicose vein caused by an arteriovenous fistula used for dialysis, creating an exsanguination. An analysis of suicide cases, where stab wounds are most common in the left hemithorax, while cut wounds are most common in the forearm or wrist, is carried our. The fact that suicide rate in transplanted people is higher than in general population is discussed, although suicide by manipulation of the access for dialysis is rare.<p /> <p>Language: es</p>",
