abstract="Isolated bilateral subconjunctival hemorrhages developed in an adult patient after ingestion of a large amount (6.48 g) of aspirin. The time course and bilateral pattern suggest a direct metabolic relationship between these two events. Adverse ocular effect of aspirin previously described have not included this finding.
