abstract="Little is known about spatial patterns of child maltreatment. The purpose of this exploratory research is to analyze the spatial patterns of child maltreatment victimization and their ecological causes. Specifically, this research seeks to determine the answer to three important questions regarding the spatial nature of child maltreatment victimization: First, are child maltreatment victimizations concentrated within certain parts of a city? Second, are there different spatial patterns for child abuse, child neglect, and juvenile assault victimization locations? Finally, how well does ecological theory explain the incidence of child abuse, child neglect, and juvenile assault victimization at the neighborhood level? <p>Language: en</p>",
