abstract="A cascade of pathological changes in the intact hemisphere developed in rats 6 months after focal unilateral traumatic brain injury: neuronal degeneration, hyperexpression of α-synuclein, APP (β-amyloid peptide precursor) protein, and glutamine synthetase in cells other than astrocytes.
