abstract="This study was intended to investigate what kind of symptoms the early childhood teachers perceive for the maladjusted young children, how they understand and respond to the maladjusted behaviors and what are the needs of the early childhood teachers. To this end, the researchers conducted a questionnaire survey among 93 kindergarten teachers teaching in Korea. As a result, it was found that the most common maladjusted behaviors of young children were non-social symptoms such as' distracted young children', 'young children who cannot control anger and emotion', and 'aggressive young children', and teachers experienced the symptoms of maladjusted behaviors that caused frequent external problems in the classroom. In addition, since teachers' experience of maladjusted behaviors of young children is increasing, whereas there is a lack of understanding about the maladjusted behaviors, they hoped for the placement of teachers who are responsible of managing young children with maladaptive behaviors, a link with professional counseling institutions, and teacher training on the strategies to guide the young children with maladjusted behaviors.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>",
