abstract="Social workers employed within DFV or CPS need to recognise the complex interactions across multidimensional forms of oppression impacting on women from migrant and refugee backgrounds; for example: race, ethnicity, social class, patriarchy, religion, immigration/citizenship status, and linguistic diversity. This article explores these issues facing migrant and refugee communities in a DFV and CPS context in Australia.
