abstract="The forms of suicide pact are complex and diverse. On the basis of the role of the participants in the implementation of suicide pact,suicide pact can be divided into impure suicide pact and pure suicide pact. Deception,help,instigation by one participant to another one are involved in the impure suicide pact. In fact,the forms of impure suicide pact belong to suicidal forms associated with suicide pact. The subjects of criminal liability that may be involved in the pure suicide pact include the perpetrator of suicide,the person who does not commit suicide or finish committing suicide,and the natural person or unit that provides the tool for suicide. As far as the above-mentioned three kinds of subjects are concerned,it is possible for the latter two kinds of subjects to bear criminal responsibility. But in view of the specific nature of pure suicide pact,the discretionary lenient punishment should be carried out.
