abstract="OBJECTIVE To estimate the disease burden of depressive disorders in Beijing. <br><br>METHODS Compiled data was obtained from Beijing mortality registry system and Beijing epidemiological survey of mental disorders in 2010. Disability adjusted life years( DALY),years of life lost( YLL) and years lost due to disability( YLD) were calculated by means of WHO Global Burden of Disease Study. <br><br>RESULTS In 2010,the prevalence of depressive disorders was 1. 1% and the mortality rate was0. 27 per 100 000 persons. The total DALY were 101. 4 thousands person-years and YLD accounted for 98. 9% of the total burden. The DALY rate was 5. 80 person-years per 1000 persons,with the rate of 3. 72 among male and 7. 88 among female.Considering the difference across age groups,the DALY rate was higher among people aged ≥50 years old and highest among people aged 70-79 years old( 9. 49 person-years per 1 000 persons). <br><br>CONCLUSION There was considerable burden caused by depressive disorders in Beijing,especially among the middle-aged and older people.<p /> <p>Language: zh</p>",
