abstract="A UK Co-operative Crash Injury Study aimed at identifying the optimum crash conditions for an advanced frontal crash test procedure was recently conducted. In this paper, the data obtained from this study are analysed. It is suggested that a revised frontal crash test should employ a crash test of at least 60 kph into a deformable block with at most a 40% overlap. In addition to improving frontal protection the relationship between intrusion and delta-V is also considered. <p>Language: en</p>",
