abstract="The purpose of our study was to explore the experiences of school counselors during the 2015 South Carolina "1,000-year flood." We used consensual qualitative research methodology and identified seven domains that described the participants' personal and professional experiences during and after the flood. We also identified the actions they took within their school system to respond to the aftermath of the flood. We discuss findings and implications for school counselors and school counselor educators.

Language: en
",
