abstract="This research was designed to study university students' perception for suicidal ideations. A cross-sectional survey including 200 students was carried out in Management and Science University (MSU). <br><br>RESULTS revealed that 13% of participants (n=26) already had previous suicide attempt (9% of females and 4% males). The suicidal attempts were more associated with female gender, Chinese race, diploma level, information technology (IT) course, low academic achievement, urban residence, high financial status, and experienced suicide attempt among peers or family members. Based on the students 'perception, the most effective preventions for suicidal ideations include family support, counselling, peer support and awareness campaigns.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>",
