abstract="In this paper, some selected aspects of operation security of national distribution grids are presented. Profile of national distribution grids is shown. Indicators used for state assessment of distribution grid are described. The analysis of SAIDI, SAIFI and MAIFI indicators for distribution grid of national distribution system operators is performed. The level of operation security of national distribution grids is discussed, some threats are defined and the catalogue of essential actions for their assurance is proposed. (Operation security of national distribution grids).   W artykule przedstawiono wybrane aspekty bezpieczeństwa pracy krajowych sieci dystrybucyjnych. Przedstawiono charakterystykę krajowych sieci dystrybucyjnych. Omówiono wskaźniki stosowane do oceny stanu sieci dystrybucyjnej. Przedstawiono analizę wskaźników SAIDI, SAIFI i MAIFI dla sieci dystrybucyjnej krajowych operatorów systemów dystrybucyjnych. Określono poziom bezpieczeństwa pracy krajowych sieci dystrybucyjnych, zdefiniowano jego zagrożenia i określono katalog niezbędnych działań w celu jego poprawy.
