abstract="Somnambulism has a low prevalence, but its intriguing features occasionally cause it to become the focus of scientific interest. Although it mostly occurs in childhood and ceases spontaneously in the majority of cases, sometimes it can persist or reactivate in adulthood. This reactivation tends to be associated with the use of certain medications. Some antipsychotic medications and antidepressants have already been proved to reactivate childhood somnambulism, and some studies have suggested that β-blockers, mostly propranolol, may also play a role.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>",
